AB de Villiers and JP Duminy hit centuries and Wayne Parnell took two wickets with his first three balls as South Africa put Australia under pressure on the second day of the second Test at St George's Park on Friday.

Australia were 112 for four in Port Elizabeth at the close in reply to South Africa's first innings total of 423.

De Villiers (116) and Duminy (123) posted a sixth wicket partnership of 149 as Australia conceded a total of 400 or more for the first time in 13 Test matches.

De Villiers continued his prolific run-scoring form as he notched his 19th Test century, while Duminy ended a string of low scores to record his third Test hundred.

It was De Villiers' sixth century during a record sequence of 12 Test matches in which he has scored a half-century or better and never been dismissed for under double figures.

Vernon Philander struck early in the Australian innings when he trapped Chris Rogers leg before wicket for five - the third successive single figure score by the left-handed opener.

Fellow opener David Warner counter-attacked but Parnell plunged Australia into trouble. Playing on his home ground in his first Test match in four years, he had Alex Doolan and Shaun Marsh caught behind with his first and third deliveries.

Warner finished the day with 65 not out off 67 balls and nightwatchman Nathan Lyon was 12 not out. But South Africa failed to ask for a review when Lyon edged the ball down the legside off Dale Steyn in the penultimate over and he was dropped at gully by Duminy off Parnell in the last over of the day.

Avatar actor Sam Worthington arrested in NYC

Actor Sam Worthington has been arrested in New York City for punching a photographer after the man kicked Worthington's girlfriend in the shin, police said.

The 37-year-old Avataractor was arrested on an assault charge following the incident Sunday evening.

The Australian actor was released and is due back in court on Wednesday. Police did not say what caused the scuffle.

The photographer, 37-year-old Sheng Li, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, assault and harassment. He's being held pending arraignment.

It wasn't immediately clear if both had lawyers.

Bajaj to launch four-wheel vehicle but it's not a car

It's got four wheels and seatbelts, but Bajaj Auto, the creator of India's first quadricycle, would rather you didn't call it a car. Bajaj Auto is marketing the RE60 as a more stable and comfortable alternative to the three-wheeled autorickshaws ubiquitous on India's roads even though it looks like a small hatchback car and is expected to cost less.

Weight, top speed and other specifications, including safety standards, mean the RE60 will not be classified as a car. But that didn't stop executives from top automakers such as Tata Motors from comparing it to a car and finding its safety features come up short.

Rajiv Bajaj, the company's managing director, insists the RE60 is neither a car nor an autorickshaw. The government is even creating a new classification category for the vehicle, which is expected to be launched within months.

"In every market that a three-wheeler is available the quadricycle should be relevant,"Bajaj told Reuters in a phone interview. "Because at the end of the day it provides a very logical upgrade from a three-wheeler for people who want to pay a little more and want to have the comfort and safety of four wheels, four doors, a roof and seatbelts," he said.

The company is the world's largest autorickshaw maker and India's second largest motorcycle maker, and sales of both these vehicles have decelerated over the last two years, hit by falling demand in a slowing economy.

The RE60 is part of a long-term expansion strategy by Bajaj to boost sales growth at home and abroad.

Bajaj's three-wheeler sales fell 6 percent in the 2012/13 financial year compared to a 17 percent increase in the previous year and a 28 percent rise in 2010/11.

Exports of motorbikes and autorickshaws account for more than a third of Bajaj's sales. The company counts Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd , TVS Motor Company Ltd and Italy's Piaggio as competitors in the three-wheeler segment.

In yet another bonanza to air travellers at the onset of the summer season, budget carrier SpiceJet on Monday reduced its fares by up to a whopping 75 percent under a special offer.

This is the third time in the last one month that the Kalanithi Maran promoted carrier has slashed fares to avail early summer bookings.

The bookings under the 'super summer sale' offer will remain open till Wednesday mid-night, SpiceJet said in a release here on Monday.

"Super summer sale offers up to 75 per cent off base fare plus fuel surcharge relative to last minute fares, for travel between April 1 and June 30, 2014," the airline said.

This offer comes after the overwhelming success of the earlier two similar schemes and aims at making those seats available to passengers at highly discounted advance purchase rates which would otherwise go empty, the release said.

"We received overwhelming positive feedback from customers who booked the earlier 'super sales' for taking the lead in making air travel more affordable, where travellers can now book more spontaneously and more often by air, and also for attracting many first time travellers,"SpiceJet chief operating officer Sanjiv Kapoor said.

Dale Steyn produced a ferocious spell of fast bowling to inspire South Africa to a crushing 231-run victory over Australia in fading light on day four of the second Test on Sunday.

With rain predicted for Monday, Steyn charged in and took four wickets, including the key scalp of Australia captain Michael Clarke, as the tourists lost 10 wickets for 90 runs having looked comfortable at 126 without loss chasing a record 448 for victory.

Only opener Chris Rogers showed any real resistance with a fine 107, this third ton in four tests, as he shared a century opening stand with David Warner (66), but for the remainder it was a procession as none of the other batsmen reached double figures.

The result left the three-match serieslevel at 1-1 with the third test starting in Cape Town on Saturday.

After JP Duminy had removed Warner and Morne Morkel grabbed the wicket of Alex Doolan (five), Shaun Marsh picked up a pair in the match and now has six ducks in his last 11 test innings. He was lbw to Vernon Philander.

Then began the Steyn onslaught as Clarke (one) was brilliantly caught by Faf du Plessis at second slip and Steve Smith trapped lbw first ball.

That wicket showed evidence of reverse swing and Steyn produced more as he clattered into the middle stump of Brad Haddin (one) for the second time in the match.

Ryan Harris (six) was also trapped in front of his stumps but the key moment came when, with just seven minutes remaining in the day's play, Rogers was run out trying to take a quick single to substitute fielder Alviro Peterson.

Nathan Lyon (zero) was the final wicket to fall, lbw to Dean Elgar and although replays showed he had hit the ball, Australia had used up their reviews.

South Africa earlier declared their second innings on 270 for five as Hashim Amla plundered an unbeaten 127, his 21st test century to move joint third on South Africa's all-time list with Gary Kirsten, still behind Graeme Smith (27) and Jacques Kallis (45)
