14 AAP members were arrested after Delhi Police registered an FIR in connection with the clashes outside the BJP national headquarters here between supporters of the two parties that left 28 people injured.

According to police sources, an FIR has been lodged at Parliament Street Police Station on Wednesday night against AAP protesters including leaders Ashutosh and Shazia Ilmi.

Charges of rioting, obstructing a public servant from performing his duty and damaging public property have been slapped against them, the sources said.

Police had initially detained 33 people out of which 14 were arrested late on Wednesday night, while others were allowed to go.

"All those identifiable and present at the protest site have been named in the FIR," said a senior Delhi Police official.

Those arrested will be produced before a local court on Thursday afternoon.

28 people, including 13 AAP activists and 10 BJP supporters, were injured in the clashes, police said.

Police have termed the AAP protest completely illegal as no prior permission was sought in this connection by the party.

Police have also got the entire sequence of events videographed and senior officials said that more arrests are possible after identification in the video footage.

AAP workers, on Wednesday, had clashed with BJP activists outside the saffron party headquarters in Delhi and Lucknow after Arvind Kejriwal's car was damaged in Gujarat in retaliation to protests against his brief detention in the state.

The Delhi High Court stayed the release of Gulaab Gang. The Madhuri Dixit-Juhi Chawla starrer is reportedly based on the life of activist Sampat Pal Devi, the founder of Gulabi Gang, a group of pink sari clad women vigilantes of Uttar Pradesh.

Sampat Pal Devi had moved the High Court seeking a stay order on the film, alleging that the filmmakers did not take her permission and the movie shows her in a bad light.

Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva stayed the release of the film this Friday, reasoning that it will cause 'irreparable damage' to Pal's reputation.

Speaking to Mirror from Delhi, Sampat Pal Devi said: "It's a personal victory for me, my faith in the country's legal system has been restored." When asked if the move was driven by the prospect of a monetary settlement, she retorted, "My reputation is at stake. Right now I'm very happy with the judgement. For anything else, please talk to my lawyer."

When prodded on reports of her ouster from the position of Gulabi Gang's commander, she replied, "How can anybody dethrone me from a gang that I've created? I am, and will remain, not only the commander, but the international commander of Gulabi Gang."

70 dead in Bolivia Carnival

Carnival festivities in Bolivia left 70 people dead, most of them in road accidents but at least 15 in acts of violence, the government said.

Four days of partying at the carnival, an annual pre-Lenten event that draws thousands of people onto the streets, ended on 6th March.

Police reported 70 deaths, including 37 in traffic accidents, said Interior Minister Carlos Romero.

That toll did not include another five people killed in celebrations in the city of Oruro. A metal bridge in that city collapsed under the weight of huge crowds, also leaving dozens injured.

Romero said that tragedy - at festivities with more than 30,000 dancers and 6,000 musicians - had been treated separately from the tally of violent crime or bloodshed.

About 350,000 people turned out for carnival festivities in Oruro alone, authorities said.

Bombings mainly targeting Shiite areas of Baghdad and attacks on security force checkpoints in and around the capital killed at least 21 people Wednesday, officials said.

And Baghdad is hit by near-daily bombings and shootings. Wednesday's seven car bombs and two roadside bombs, which struck six different areas of Baghdad, killed at least 14 people and wounded more than 70 people, the officials said.

One of the car bombs exploded near the University of Technology in the Karrada district of central Baghdad, killing three people and wounding at least 10.

"The terrorist was planning to blow up the car on the main road near the university," but security forces do not allow cars to stop there so he instead left it on a side street, a police officer at the scene said.

An AFP journalist saw the charred remains of the car, and said two cars and several nearby homes were damaged by the blast.

Flipboard buys Zite, will shut it down

The company behind Flipboard, a popular app that pulls in content from various sources on the web and serves them to users in a magazine-style format on a phone or tablet, announced on Wednesday that it was buying Zite.

Zite too serves the web content in magazine format. It competed with Flipboard. Zite was owned by CNN, which was trying to use it to push its own content. But it seems CNN's efforts failed and the media company decided to sell Zite.

Salman Khan was seen on a bicycle, sporting a mask while shooting in Chandi Chowk, Delhi for the film Kick.

The bylanes of Old Delhi recently saw Salman Khan, along with co-actor Randeep Hooda, producer and director Sajid Nadiadwala, line producer Ravi Sarin and other members of the cast and crew of Kick, shooting for several action sequences.
